Resumo: In this two-day course, we present an update on selected themes of paediatric pulmonology, of interest to paediatricians and pneumologists involved in care of infants, children or adolescent with respiratory diseases. As this is a very prevalent group of pathologies in clinical practice (emergency department, hospital wards and ambulatory practice), with acute and chronic presentations, physicians need to be up to date, in theoretical basis and practical skills. We designed this course for the hard-working medical practitioner, fellow, resident or consultant, that wishes to maintain continuous medical education in the field of paediatric respiratory medicine. The course provides theorical / practical lessons about fourteen selected themes, followed by simulation and practical demonstration of six often used clinical techniques in the area.
