Resumo: Millions of children around the world are unable to develop to their full potential unlike their peers growing up in more supportive environments. Pediatricians and health care providers have the opportunity and responsibility to help address this inequity. The mission of the IDP Congress is to share knowledge and experience in a multidisciplinary platform to better equip pediatricians and child health providers in delivering state of the art "developmental care" to all children, particularly those with developmental difficulties, i.e. children with developmental risks and children with disabilities.
